Jean Walker, WHNP

Jean Walker, WHNP graduated with honors in 2008 from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then obtained her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2018 with a specialty in Women’s Health.

Jean has been a high-risk labor and delivery nurse certified in Obstetrics for 10 years. She worked in the civilian sector at Children’s Hospital Colorado and Baylor Scott and White in Dallas, Texas. She has also served over 7 years in the United States Air Force at Yokota Air Base, Japan; Aviano Air Base, Italy, and Lackland Airforce Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Jean is a proud member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) as well as a member of Nurse Practitioner’s in Women’s Health (NPWH).

Nurse Walker approaches each woman with a holistic view and takes care of the mental side of health, along with the physical.

“I feel passionately about empowering women to live healthy lives and feel as well as possible through all stages of life. I have special interest in the perimenopausal to postmenopausal period, hormone therapy, including BioTe, and sexual dysfunction.”

Outside of the office, nurse Walker enjoys spending time doing aerial yoga, hiking and rock climbing in the mountains with her husband, 2 kids and 2 dogs. She also enjoys traveling the world, attending live music and dance, and sharing great food and wine with friends.
