Kristin Shields, MD Graduated magna cum laude from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelors of Science in chemistry in 2005. She then graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine with a Medical Doctorate in 2010. She is a junior fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the American Medical Association. Kristin’s specialties include minimally invasive surgeries and a focus on personalized medicine.

I have been practicing as a generalist OB/GYN and intensivist in a rural location for 2 years and have treated a broad variety of women’s health concerns.
Outside of taking care of her patients, Kristin enjoys hiking and camping throughout the incredible wilderness Colorado has to offer, along with a deep appreciation for gardening. She has two energetic dogs who are spoiled rotten.
