Caitlan Talamas, MS, APRN-BC, CNM

Caitlan is a  dedicated certified nurse-midwife with a robust educational background and extensive professional experience. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the UT Health Science Center San Antonio in 2015. Furthering her education, Caitlan earned her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery and Women’s Health from Georgetown University in 2018. She has been board certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board since 2018.

 

Caitlan’s professional journey has been marked by her comprehensive experience in practicing full-scope midwifery care at a large, fast-paced hospital in south Texas. Her expertise spans both low and high-risk pregnancy care, enabling her to provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population. Caitlan is particularly passionate about minimizing racial and ethnic disparities in obstetric care, ensuring that every patient receives equitable and high-quality care. She is also committed to maintaining up-to-date obstetric practices and delivering family-centered midwifery care, emphasizing the importance of personalized and compassionate care.

 

Beyond her professional life, Caitlan is an avid advocate for staying active and enjoys exercising regularly, which helps her keep up with her three young children. She and her husband have a shared love for exploring new cuisines, with Indian food being their favorite. Recently, Caitlan and her family relocated to Colorado after spending their entire lives in Texas. They are thrilled to embrace the new experiences and opportunities that Colorado offers.
