She qualified in 1995 with an advanced degree in Midwifery a few years later. She immigrated to the USA in 2001 from South Africa and worked as an RN in labour and delivery until qualifying as a Certified Nurse Midwife to practice in this country. She initially started in Denver and then traveled across the country working at various hospitals, finally returning to Denver to settle down. She has dedicated her career to the care of women in all phases of their life. Her philosophy is simple: provide the best care at each encounter, individualized to life circumstances while factoring in both medical and personal issues that affect decision making.
