Weight Loss
We are here to help you achieve your weight loss goals!
Weight loss journey can be challenging and often difficult. We offer a comprehensive and medically supervised weight loss regimen with GLP-1, designed to help you achieve your goals safely and effectively. South Denver OBGYN will provide continuous medical monitoring minimizing health risks.
Why GLP-1? GLP-1 medication is a hormone that our body naturally releases when we eat. It prompts the body to produce insulin which in turn reduces blood sugar. It helps regulate and improve the body’s weight loss factors. By changing these factors, the gut will send signals to the brain to improve metabolic function and regulate digestion and appetite.
- Curbs hunger to keep you feeling fuller
- Affordable care that provides real results
- Lose weight comfortably with dosing tailored to your body and pace.
- Optimize your biomarkers, health and vitality while losing weight.
- With weight loss some patients are able to come off of diabetes medication, high blood pressure medication, cholesterol medication, and anti-depressants
- Improved Joint Health
How does GLP-1 work?
- Slows down the stomach emptying time. This leads to feeling full faster and feeling satisfaction of hunger with smaller meal size or portions
- Slows down intestinal motility so the sense of fullness lasts longer
- Lowers blood sugar
- Stimulates the pancreas to produce more insulin
- Insulin turns food into energy
