Bio Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy

South Denver OB/GYN & Midwives has established a relationship with rebalance biohealth & BioTE® Medical to give our patients access to Bio Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) for women and men.

Hormones rejuvenate, regenerate and restore. They serve as powerful chemical messengers sent to specific cells throughout your body to orchestrate many of your body’s internal functions and how your organs behave. Even a small fluctuation in levels can cause big changes in cells or even disrupt the balance throughout your entire body. Too much or too little of a hormone can have serious consequences.

Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy using the pellet method has changed the manner in which women age. In the past, women died more frequently in childbirth, PMS was an imaginary problem, and menopause, with all of its age related infirmities, was just another stage of life to be endured and lived with. Today, we know that we don’t have to accept hormonal imbalance as a grim reality. Natural hormone replacement therapy has helped improve not only the quality of our lives, but also how long we live them. Some doctors continue to say that women should stop whining and embrace our menopausal woes, but why should we when the remedy is as simple as replacing missing hormones?

EPAT

What is EPAT®? The procedure consists of applying a unique and proprietary set of acoustic pressure (sound) waves that are generated outside the human body to the treatment area via the device applicator. Based on the knowledge and experience gathered to date, these acoustic pressure waves do not cause any clinically relevant side effects.

Is there any downtime? No. Patients can carry on with their normal and sexual activities immediately after each session.

Why might patients pay out of pocket for EPAT®? Patients often choose EPAT® even without insurance coverage because it is evidence-based, non-invasive, and can provide meaningful relief when other treatments have failed. Many appreciate avoiding surgery and lengthy recovery times.

EPAT® can be used to break down scar tissue due to repetitive pelleting.
