Shelly Posey, CNM Littleton and Castle Rock

Shelly graduated from Regis University with her BSN in 1995. She was working as a labor and delivery nurse when she had her first experience with a midwife. She thought it was amazing to be with women during one of the most important times in their lives from the beginning of pregnancy, to birth, to the postpartum time and beyond.  She became a certified nurse-midwife in 2007 after completing her Masters of Science degree in nurse-midwifery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Shelly is passionate about supporting women through birth and loves being a midwife and caring for women throughout all stages of their life.

Shelly has additional expertise as a sexual assault forensic examiner (SAFE) / sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE).

 In her spare time, Shelly enjoys hiking and biking and spending time with her four kids.
